For more than 25 years, I've been dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate divorce and other family law matters with compassion, practical guidance, and a focus on resolution. I believe people deserve options that help them move forward with dignity, respect, and hope.
After earning my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, I began practicing family law in 1999. Since 2008, I've served as the Managing Partner of VB Law, LLC, where I've had the privilege of helping clients navigate life's transitions with experience, empathy, and practical solutions.
As both an attorney and a mediator, I believe every family deserves an approach that's right for their unique circumstances. Whether through mediation, collaborative divorce, or other client-centered options, my goal is to help people reduce conflict, save time and expense whenever possible, and move forward with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.
